About this event

Paintball Arena presents: Open Airsoft Event – Day Ops

Date: Sunday 13/09/2026 | 08:00 – 15:00

Location: Domein De Plas – Houthalen-Helchteren

Capacity: Maximum 80 players (of which max. 20 rental kits available)

Get ready for a full day of airsoft on three combined fields — a massive 23,000 m² of playing area. Two teams battle for victory during our Open Airsoft Event: Day Ops. Tactical play, varied scenarios and non-stop action from morning to afternoon.

Whether you're a seasoned airsofter or want to try the sport for the first time, everyone is welcome. Rental kits are available so newcomers can take part fully too.

Arrival & Shuttle Service

Parking is only allowed at the large car park by the entrance to the domain. Players' vehicles are not permitted on the site itself. We provide a shuttle service to transport your gear to the playing field.

Shuttle times: 08:00 – 08:25 – 08:50

09:00 = Gate closed. After this time, no players or equipment will be admitted, without exception.

Important: All your gear — replicas, holsters, tactical gear and everything except the clothing you're wearing — must be transported in a closed bag. A public walking path runs alongside the field; walkers must at no point be disturbed by or confronted with visible replicas or military equipment. Outside the designated zones, nothing may be worn visibly.

Players who wish to leave the event early may of course do so, but are responsible for transporting their belongings back to the car park themselves.

Rules of Play

The standard airsoft rules apply, supplemented by the following guidelines:

  • Hit: Call out loud and clear "HIT!" and raise your hand visibly so everyone can see you're out.

  • Dead men don't speak: Eliminated players do not communicate, except to shout "Dead man!" so other players know you're out.

  • Weapon switch: A hit on your weapon counts as a hit. You may switch to your sidearm.

  • Knife kills: Silent elimination. Tap your opponent gently on the shoulder with a dummy knife.

  • Headshots: Avoid aiming for the head, unless the head is the only visible body part.

  • Blind fire: Forbidden. You must always have a clear line of sight to your target.

  • Within 5 metres: Not forbidden for AEGs or sidearms, but use common sense or call "BANG" instead of shooting. If you do have to shoot given the situation, avoid painful/sensitive areas and hit a maximum of once.

  • Buildings: Shooting from buildings is only permitted in semi-automatic.

Team identification: Teams are distinguished by armbands — Red (right arm) and Blue (left arm).

Joule Limits & Chrono

All replicas are tested before the start. The maximum permitted BB weight is 0.46 g BIO.

  • AEG / Support: 1.2 J, minimum 5 m
